shopping palette: eggplant, gold, teal & gray

I've been fixated on these two photos ever since Denise and Erik's wedding. The bride and groom rented a mansion during their stay in Savannah and I'm so glad their photographer, Jade McCully,, was able to capture the colors of the home along the way. Each room in the home was decorated with gilded mirrors and crystal chandeliers.
The colors were so vibrant and regal, spending time in the mansion was like visiting another era. While the bridal party was getting ready, one of Denise's bridesmaids was inspired to pin a flower in her hair. The flower was actually not meant to be a hair accessory at all, but when inspiration strikes, you just go with it. On that note, here are a few inspired elements that can be added to your wedding look on a whim.
