so long to the single girl

"Sorry. All my friends are taken."

Not really. In fact, several of my very best girlfriends are all spectacularly single. But that line, from Season 6 of Sex and the City (when Carrie thinks Alex is going to ask her for a matchmaking favor,) struck me this afternoon as I celebrated the idea of Vane returning from her honeymoon and Erica currently relaxing in Jamaica both as married woman!! It's the end of an era. (Not really but I had to say it.) In truth, the best is yet to come. Endless congratulations and celebrations to you both!

Tomorrow, the Sex and the City movie will premier in London. What a tease. So many questions waiting to be answered. Here is your chance to weigh in. Will Carrie and Mr. Big finally say "I do?" Brides.com is hosting a survey to find out what brides-to-be think about the "Big" question. (If you read the Parade Magazine interview with SJP, you'll get the answer.)
Engaged women voiced their opinions in the exclusive poll, with a majority (75%) saying that Carrie and Mr. Big should finally exchange wedding vows. A majority (70%) also think Carrie is ready for a real world marriage. However, if Carrie Bradshaw does not end up with Mr. Big, brides are rooting for her to return to furniture designer Aidan Shaw (62%) over Russian artist Aleksandr Petrovsky (2%), with a good percentage (14%) even preferring that the character remain happily single. The idea of a new man in the fictional sex columnist's life also had its fans (19%), but clearly old flame Aidan is the top pick.

My vote is for Burger.... I know he broke up with her on a post-it note, but I still loved them together!

I'm kind of disappointed that they gave the "Will Big and Carrie get hitched?" answer away. I mean, I knew they were going to...but, couldn't they wait until the movie premiered? Spoiler Alert!

Also, those SJP pics are beautiful.
