I had wanted to use plaid for the bridesmaid dresses but came up against a lot of resistance from my sister (maid of honor) and went with another choice. Looking at the last two choices makes me wonder if I should have pushed harder for it.
These are wonderful I love them all!!! I'm going to forward this post to "The Preppy Wedding", she's going to love it!
hey, thanks for the shout out. i really think that these dresses show how beautiful plaid can really be. it should definitely be considered.
I'm with you on Luisa Beccaria--everything she touches comes out stunning--her interpretaton of plaid is just beautiful.
(And thanks for the link back :)
I really think the plaid bridesmaids are adorable! Theya re perfect for a spring or fall wedding - but, I guess not yours! Love the dresses, though!!
I just updated this post with a plaid discovery from J.Crew. At $450 a pop, you better be darn sure you're mad about plaid!
I love that purple plaid dress - actually I love them all! No one does this in Australia so I must be the first (when I find a man to marry that is!) xx
